Rome Antics uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate personalised advice. When you request AI advice, a brief of the relevant relationship context (upcoming dates, known preferences) is sent server-side to the API. This data is used solely to generate your response and is not stored by Anthropic beyond the processing session. We never send personally identifiable information such as full names to external AI services.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal relationship data with any third party. The only data shared externally:
All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure located within the European Union. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted by row-level security — your data is only accessible to your own account. We apply standard security practices including rate limiting, injection prevention, and regular credential rotation.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, non-identifiable aggregate usage statistics may be retained for product improvement purposes.
Rome Antics is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at legal@rome-antics.org and we will delete the account promptly.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of the app after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
